The Montego Bay Cultural Centre offers the most comprehensive historical, cultural and artistic exhibitions in a Cultural Centre which is itself an historic site dating back to the early 19th Century. It houses the National Museum West’s ‘permanent ‘ and ‘moving’ museums, the National Gallery West that exhibits the works of Jamaica’s iconic and contemporary painters, photographers and sculptors down through centuries and the ‘Freedom Monument’, a tribute to slaves that fought in the rebellion. It offers in addition a Gift and Logo Shop with authentic Jamaican art and craft and a Bistro which offers world class authentic Jamaican cuisine.
