Cruise ships dock a few miles outside of Montego Bay proper at the Montego Freeport cruise port.. Most tour buses and taxis park on the road outside the complex in anticipation of tourists looking to explore the area. This is also usually the pick up point for pre-organized tours from your cruise concierge. 

It's a five-minute ride into Montego Bay from there (approx $5) for those who have no agenda and just want to get onto the main area of town (Gloucester Avenue "The Hip Strip").
