The Coronation Bakery is a Port Antonio institution, having been in operation on West Street since 1953.
It is based in a traditionally designed wooden building with a zinc roofed veranda, in keeping with Port Antonio's ramshackle charm. The bakery is famous for "Holey Bulla", a dense sweet ginger-flavoured bread with is a staple food for working class Jamaicans. Coronation bakery also serves all of the items you would expect from a Jamaican bakery including bread, coco-bread, cakes and Patties
