SIP is the event that ushers you into the summer party season.  
 
This day party is usually held in June at the Aqueduct in Rose Hall, Montego Bay.

Brit Jam Music Festival


Brit Jam Music Festival is held in August.

This festival is a fusion of British and Jamaican music cultures, offering an eclectic mix of dancehall, reggae, and hip-hop music experience.

Expect energetic performances from top artists, beach parties, and themed events.

Sybaritic Weekend

Sybaritic Weekend offers four events across three nights at the Aqueduct in Rose Hall and Tropical Beach.

The 2024 staging of Afro-Soca will be headlined by soca music sensation Destra Garcia.

The other events include Tides & Tanlines, Sparks After-Dark, and Diamond Dreamz.

Reggae Sumfest week of parties

This annual music festival has expanded to include themed, nightly events leading to the official concert nights. 

 Here’s what you can expect:

Street Dance

Held at the Catherine Hall entertainment complex, it is a showcase of Jamaica's finest deejay talents and a celebration of the best dancehall and reggae hits.

All White Party

Head to Pier 1 for the Sumfest All-White Party.

Here, you'll be transported to the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s through the deejays' music selections.

You're expected to be dressed in all-white and be rewarded if you are one of the best-dressed patrons. 

Global Sound Clash

The Global Sound Clash at Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex is an event not to miss.

Watch as sound systems from around the world compete for the title of the champion sound system. 

Jamaica Rum Festival Blitz

In 2024, Reggae Sumfest added the Jamaica Rum Festival Blitz event to its calendar.

This was facilitated through a partnership with the organizers of the Jamaica Rum Festival which usually takes place in the summer.

In addition to sampling Jamaican-made rum, enjoy performances by Afro Beats, Dancehall, Reggae, and EDM artists from night to morning. 

Sumfest concert nights

The main concert nights are hosted at the Catherine Hall entertainment complex and often include electrifying performances from local and international artists.

The 2024 staging of concert night one includes performances from top Dancehall acts like Dexta Daps, Aidonia, 450, Valiant, and Jada Kingdom.

International RnB superstar Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds is expected to grace the Sumfest stage on concert night two.

That night also features performances from Beres Hammond and other local talents like Nigy Boy and D'Yani.

Things to do in Montego Bay
